Early Life & Biography
He was born under the name Michael Shawn Hickenbottom in the year 1965. He is the last born of four children, namely Randy, Shari, and Scott. He grew up in a military family in England but later his family moved to San Antonio in Texas.
He never liked the name Michaels when he was a child, this forced the people around him to refer to his as Shawn and it stuck ever since. Shawn discovered that he was born to become a wrestler at the age of twelve as he used to present various wrestling styles while in high school.
