Early Life & Biography
Hoodie Allen was born as Steven Adam Markowitz on August 19, 1988, in Long Island, New York, the United States and was raised in Plainview. Allen began writing songs as a child and used to perform before his friends in parties. He attended the Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School and later attended the University of Pennsylvania where he studies marketing and finance.
He began working for Google and used to write songs and perform concerts after returning home from the office at 6 PM. Once he started to get frequent opportunities to perform in live shows, he quitted his job and concentrated wholly on music.
