Edmund Gerald Brown Jr. was born on 7th April 1938 in San Francisco, California. His father, Edmund Gerald “Pat” Brown Sr., was the 32nd California Governor. His mother’s name is Bernice Layne. His father was half German and half Irish. Brown graduated from ‘St. Ignatius High School’ in 1955. In the same year, Brown joined ‘Santa Clara University’, but he left within a year.
