Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809 on 12th February. He was born in a one-room log cabin on the Sinking Spring Farm near Hodgenville in Kentucky. He was born to Thomas together with Nancy Hanks Lincoln and was their second child. Lincoln grew up in Kentucky as well as Indiana. He was mostly self-educated almost all his life. His mother passed away on October 5, 1818, due to milk sickness. His father remarried, and Lincoln became very close with his stepmother.
