Jay Sekulow was born on June 10, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, to his parents Natalie (née Wortman) and Stanley Sekulow. He completed his schooling from the Lakeside High School in Atlanta, Georgia. Later he earned a B.A. and a J.D. from Mercer University.
