Born on December 25, 1887, in San Antonio, New Mexico, Conrad Hilton was the son of Augustus Halvorsen Hilton, an immigrant and Mary Genevieve. Hilton spent his childhood with seven siblings.
He completed his education from Goss Military Academy, St. Michael’s College (presently known as the Santa Fe University of Art and Design) and New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts (presently known as New Mexico State University). At the first New Mexico Legislature, Conrad represented the Republican party.
During a World War, Conrad served his country for two years. His father had a horrific car accident while he was in France. Conrad’s mother induced religious principles in him.
Conrad Hilton married Mary Adelaide Barron in 1925. Unfortunately, the couple divorced in 1934 while they had three children. He married actress Zsa Zsa Gabor in 1941.
