Early life and biography:
Dwyane Wade was born on January 17, 1982, at Chicago, Illinois to JoLinda and Dwayne Wade Sr. His childhood was very difficult and rough. His mother was on drugs, and when he was just four months old, his parents divorced. His mother was off and on in prison for drug dealing.
He was living with his father and stepmother during these trying times. His sister Tragil was a positive influence on him. She gave him a proper direction in his life. He attended Harold l. Richards High School in Oak Lawn. He was in the school football and basketball teams.
