Early Life & Biography
David Ross was born on March 19, 1977, in Bainbridge, Georgia and raised in Florida. He belongs to the athletic family where his father David Ross played in Men’s softball league and his mother Jackie as a basketball player. His education completed from Florida State University and Florida High school in Tallahassee.
David married to Hyla Ross who is his high school friend. Hyla served as a pediatric nurse in ICU and has great involvement in charities. They have three children and later moved to Tallahassee in 2016.

Ross began his career after drafted in the 19th round of 1995 amateur draft by Los Angeles Dodgers and refused to take a scholarship to join Auburn University. He was noticed again with the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 7th round of the amateur draft. In 2002, he made his MLB debut and played as a pinch hitter. His first home run made in the 9th inning with the won on major league. He also made most of the catches in Dodger system. In his first 27 careers, he made six home runs during the 2002 season which includes the 3rd most in the history of Dodgers.
