Kareena Kapoor was born on September 21th in the year 1980, in Bombay, India to actor Randhir Kapoor and actress Babita Kapoor. She is the younger sister of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor. After the separation of their parents, Kareena and Karisma were raised by their mother. She attended the Jamnabai Narsee School and the Welham Girls’ School before studying commerce for two years at Mithibai College in Mumbai. She later studied law at the Mumbai Government Law College but decided to quit after a year to join the acting institute.
Kareena Kapoor married actor Saif Ali Khan on October 16, 2012, in a private ceremony in Mumbai. Saif was married previously to actress Amrita Singh which ended up in a divorce in 2004. Kareena and Saif have a son named Taimur Ali Khan who was born on December 20, 2016.
