Randy Quaid was born on October 1, 1950, in Houston, Texas, the United States. His father William Rudy Quaid was an electrician and his mother Juanita Bonniedale “Nita” was a real estate agent. Quaid spent his childhood days in Bellaire, Texas along with his younger brother Dennis Quaid, who is also an actor. Quaid developed an interest towards acting after he took drama classes in his high school. He later studied acting at the University of Houston.
Randy Quaid married his first wife Ella Marie Jolly, who was a model in May 1980. The couple welcomed their daughter Amanda Marie in May 1983 and later got a divorce in 1989.
