Pauly Shore was born on 1st February 1968 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California in the United States. His parents were Mitzi Shore and Sammy Shore who raised him up in Beverly Hills in California. He has three siblings two brothers by the name Scott and Peter and one sister by the name Sandy. From his tender age, he had a great passion with his both parents being comedians and his mother having founded The Comedy Store.
He studied at Beverly Hills High School where he graduated from the school in the year 1986. After graduating from the school, he began his career as a stand-up comedian at the Alley Cat Bistro when he was at the age of 17 years. Pauly opened up to Sam Kinison who was his mentor and this enabled him in developing an alter ego which was known as The Weasel which later became very popular.

He began his career at the Alley Cat Bistro as a Stand-up comedian in Culver City. His career was greatly influenced by his father who encouraged him to follow his steps as he was also a stand- up comedian. He got a big break from his career when he joined MTV as a VJ in the year 1993 to 1994 from which he got his own show by the name ‘Totally Pauly’ being the host of the show. This became the door for his fortunate career as it got easy popularity across the globe.
Totally Pauly opened many opportunity doors which he got huge roles in several movies thereafter. In the year 1988, he had a big role in the movie known as For Keeps as Retro and then continued trying his acting skills in Movie 18.
