Hrithik Roshan was born on January 10, 1974, in Mumbai, India. His father Rakesh Roshan, son of music director Roshanlal Nagrath, is a producer/director in Bollywood and his mother Pinky is the daughter of producer/director J. Om Prakash. Hrithik attended the Bombay Scottish School and made his film debut as a child actor when he was six years old in his grandfather’s film Aasha. Hrithik studied commerce at the Sydenham College and worked as an assistant to his father in four of his films from 1987-1997.
Hrithik Roshan married interior fashion designer and entrepreneur Sussanne Khan in Bangalore on December 20, 2000. The couple has two sons namely Hreehaan and Hridhaan. They got separated in 2013 and became officially divorced in November 2014.

Hrithik made his debut as a lead actor in 2000 through the film Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai which became the highest grossing film in Indian that year. After that, he had some commercially dull movies and got his much-needed break in 2003 through Koi… Mil Gaya which became a huge commercial success.
