His father was an insurance agent while his mother was a manager. Christopher is the younger brother of actor and disc jockey Danny Masterson. He is the half-brother of actress Alanna Masterson of The Walking dead fame and actor Jordan Masterson.
Christopher Masterson was in a relationship with actress Laura Prepon of That 70’s Show fame for eight years from 1999 to 2007.
