Brayden Tyler Quinn was born to Tyrone J. Quinn and Robin D. Quinn on October 27, 1984, in Columbus, Ohio, the United States. Brady has an elder sister Laura Quinn and a younger sister Kelly Katherine. He attended the Dublin Coffman High School and in 2002, he joined Notre Dame on scholarship. Quinn set 36 team records at Notre Dame, and in 2005 he won the Sammy Baugh Trophy as the country’s top passer for the season. He completed dual degrees in finance and political science at Notre Dame.

In 2007, Quinn signed a five-year deal with Cleveland Browns and was a third choice quarterback behind Frye and Anderson. Quinn made his debut for the Browns in their final game of the season against 49ers and was once again forced to the sidelines at the start of the 2008 season.
His first start for the Browns came in 2008 against Denver Broncos and in the next game, he broke his finger which needed surgery and forced him out for the rest of the season. In 2010, Browns traded Quinn to Broncos in exchange for Peyton Hills, but Quinn did not play a single game spending two seasons with them.
He was traded to Kansas City Chiefs in 2012 and moved to Seattle Seahawks in 2013. Quinn then moved to New York Jets and St. Louis Rams in 2013 and 2014 but failed to represent them on the pitch.
