DeVine was born in the year 1983 on November 7th in Iowa, United States. His parents are Dennis and Penny DeVine. He was able to graduate from Millard South High School, which is located in Omaha Nebraska in 2002. He schooled at the Orange Coast College, together with his cast member Blake Anderson. Later on, that is when he moved to Los Angeles, and it is here where he started to work as a comedian and an actor.
When he was eleven years old, he was knocked by a 42-ton truck, and he went into a coma. DeVine was put in the Intensive Care Unit where he woke up after two weeks.
